The 12th batch of the postgraduate programme in business management (PGPBM) starts at IIM Trichy

 The 12th batch of the postgraduate programme in business management (PGPBM) of Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM-T), for working executives was inaugurated on Saturday.

IIM Trichy offers this two-year MBA degree-granting programme from its Chennai campus at Ekkattuthangal.

The programme is designed to cater to working executives aspiring to transition into leadership roles. The classes are scheduled over the weekends.

Vikram Gupta - head of logistics at JSW Cement and an alumnus of IIM Trichy was the chief guest, director of IIM Trichy Pawan Kumar Singh, Gupta urged the students to instil a sense of social responsibility in the modern VUCA world.

Chairperson of PGPBM, professor Gajanand M S provided an overview of the curriculum and highlighted the diversity, backgrounds and profiles of the incoming batch.

He elucidated the institute’s objectives in delivering a continuous stream of quality education.

Director of IIM-T, Pawan Kumar Singh, emphasised the need to combine classroom learning with peer learning to gain holistic knowledge for better decision-making.
