Allocation of pavement shops

Traders who wish to put up temporary shops on pavements in front of Town Hall, ahead of Deepavali, are required to submit applications by October 30.

An area measuring 80 sq. ft. would be allotted for each shop under three categories based on location, and 37 shops would be allotted in A category for a fee of Rs. 4,000, 19 in B category (Rs. 3,500), and 24 in C category (Rs. 3,000). Applications with a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchirapalli, should be submitted to the RDO office before 5.45 p.m. on October 30. If the number of applicants exceeded the shops, the allotment would be made by draw of lots on October 31.
