Tiruchi doctors bag State IMA award

M.S.Ashraf, senior physician from the city and past national vice-president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the State IMA during its Doctors Day celebration held in Chennai recently.

C.Vijaya Baskar, Minister for Health, presented the award to Dr.Ashraf at the State IMA’s Doctors Day awards function in the presence of J.Radhakrishnan, Health Secretary, and senior IMA office bearers.

City-based senior gynaecologist Rameswari Nallusamy was presented with Woman Doctors Award.
