TNPL Selected As The Top Indian Company Under The Sector "Paper & Paper Products" Convert Case
Dun & Bradstreet has selected Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL) as the Top Indian Company under the sector "Paper & Paper Products" for "Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2017".
The Award was presented in a function held at Mumbai on 1.6.2017. Dr. R. Selvaraj, IA S, Managing Director, TNPL received the "Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2017" from the Chief Guest Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon"ble Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Government of India. Others present at the event were Mr. Rajju Shroff, Chairman. UK. Limited, Mr. V. Vaidyanathan, Found-er & Executive Chairman, Capital First Limited, Mr. Joshua Peirez. President & Chief Operating Officer, Dun & Bradstreet, Mr. Manish Sinha, Managing Director - India, Dun & Bradstreet and Mr Kaushal Sanripat, Chief Business Advisor - India, Dun & Bradstreet. In addition, the eminent dignitaries also included the representatives from the companies featured in the Top 500 Companies list.
TNPL has been receiving the Dun & Bradstreet Corporate Award consecutively for six years from 2012 under the sector "Paper & Paper Products".
TNPL, a Government of Tamil Nadu Enterprise, manufacturing printing & writing paper and coated boards with a total capacity of 6.00 lath per annum is the third largest capacity Paper Mill in the country and the second largest in production of printing & writing paper.
TNPL has made Profit After Tax of Rs.264.56 Crore for the year 2016-17.
