Bus Stand site inspected
The Principal Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department K. Ashok Vardhan Shetty on Wednesday inspected the site identified at Panchapur for the establishment of an integrated bus stand, an official press release here said.
Mr. Shetty also inspected the land belonging to the Aavin near Old Palpannai circle where the wholesale section of the Gandhi Market is proposed to be shifted from its present location.
He also inspected the modern crematorium constructed at a cost of Rs. 1.49 crore at Karumandapam and instructed directed the officials to maintain it properly.
Modern abattoir
He also had a look at the modern abattoir set up in G corner area at a cost of Rs. 1.03 crore.
