Call centre to be set up at college
Shrimati Indira Gandhi College (SIGC) and Calstar Technology, Chennai have planned to instal a Call Centre for Business Process Outsourcing on the college premises.
According to a press release, the college will shortly recruit women candidates with a UG degree from any recognised university and good communication skills. The recruited candidates who will be provided with free training and placement should be willing to work overnight from 8.00 p.m. to 5.00 a.m.
Purpose
The purpose of the initiative was to provide women in and around the district an opportunity for economic independence and empowerment, the release said.
Interested candidates can apply with their bio-data , and contact number and address, to K. Meena, Principal, SIGC, Tiruchi – 2, in person or through post within 15 days. The date of interview will be intimated later, it said.
