Vaigai Express to stop at Srirangam

Southern Railway has announced that the Chennai Egmore - Madurai - Chennai Egmore Vaigai Expresses (Train No. 12635 / 12636) have been provided temporary stoppage at Srirangam station for one minute from December 17 to 19 in view of the Vaikunta Ekadasi festival at Srirangam.

The Chennai Egmore - Madurai Vaigai Express will reach Srirangam at 6.03 p.m. and leave at 6.04 p.m. The Madurai - Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express will reach Srirangam at 9.26 a.m. and leave at 9.27 a.m.

Changes

Some changes have been announced in the pattern of following trains due to line block for engineering work between Ponmalai and Tiruverumbur here.

The Coimbatore - Mayiladuthurai Jan Shatabdi Express (Train No 12084) will arrive 105 minutes late at Mayiladuthurai on December 15.

The Mayiladuthurai - Coimbatore Jan Shatabdi Express (Train No. 12083) is rescheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai at 4.20 p.m. instead of 2.50 p.m. and arrive 110 minutes late at Tiruchi Fort station on December 15.

The Tiruchi - Mayiladuthurai Express (Train No. 16234) will arrive 60 minutes late at Mayiladuthurai on December 15.

The Tiruchi - Karaikal passenger (Train No. 76852) will arrive 40 minutes late at Karaikal on December 15.

The Karaikal - Tiruchi passenger (Train No. 56711) will be detained for 15 minutes at Tiruverumbur on December 15.
