Change in pattern of train services

Southern Railway has announced partial cancellation of some trains besides rescheduling of a couple of others from May 23 to 29 due to engineering work at Tiruverambur yard.

The Coimbatore-Mayiladuthurai-Coimbatore Jan Shatabdi expresses (Train No. 12084/12083) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi - Mayiladuthurai - Tiruchi on May 27.

The Tirunelveli - Mayiladuthurai - Tirunelveli passengers (Train No. 56822/56821) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi - Mayiladuthurai - Tiruchi from May 26 to 29.

The Karaikal - Tiruchi - Karaikal passengers (Train No. 76851/76854) will be partially cancelled between Thanjavur - Tiruchi - Thanjavur on May 27 and 29.

Rescheduled

The Mayiladuthurai - Tirunelveli passenger (Train No. 56821) scheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai at 11.25 a.m. on May 24 and 25 has been rescheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai at 11.55 a.m. on those days.

The Rameswaram - Bhubaneswar weekly express (Train No. 18495) scheduled to leave Rameswaram at 8.30 a.m. on May 27 has been rescheduled to leave Rameswaram at 10.30 a.m. on May 27.

Regulated

The Tiruchi - Mayiladuthurai passenger (Train No. 56822) will be regulated for 40 minutes at Ponmalai on May 24 and 25.

The Rameswaram - Bhubaneswar weekly express (Train No. 18495) will be regulated for 45 minutes en route on May 26.

The Chennai Egmore - Tiruchi express (Train No. 16795) will be regulated for 45 minutes en route and reach Tiruchi late by 45 minutes from May 26 to 29, a Southern Railway press release said.
