Big achievement for SRM group - Trichy - Institute of Hotel Management wins this award for the 4th time in a row

Another milestone achieved by the SRM Institute of Hotel Management! For the fourth time in a row, the institute has received the ‘Best Hotel Management Institute’award from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD). The award was conferred by Honorable Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Dr. Satyapal Singh. The award was bestowed on the institute during the 11th National Higher Education Summit & Excellence Awards in New Delhi. What’s the big thing is that the institute has received this award for the fourth time in a row.

The Education Summit was organized to honour those who have contributed significantly in the field of improving the quality in Education, delivery mechanism with emphasis on world-class research and innovations. SRM IHM is the only institute to have received this award in the Hospitality sector.

SRM Institute of Hotel Management is a part of the SRM Group which was established in the year 1993. The institute is providing quality hospitality education and training for more than a decade now. SRM Institute of Hotel Management provides various courses in hospitality management that include B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Craftsmanship Course in Food Production, Craftsmanship Course in Food and Beverage Service, Diploma in Food Production and Diploma in Food and Beverage Service. It also provides a Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology and MBA in Hospitality Management offered by SRM and Madras University. The duration of the courses varies from 6 weeks to 3 years. The maximum eligibility for the courses is 12th pass.
