Aim for 100% results in public examinations
Principals of Kendriya Vidyalayas in Tiruchi Cluster have put in place measures for securing cent per cent overall results in the public examinations for levels X and XII.

At a recent meeting here, principals of the Kendriya Vidyalayas at OFT (Ordnance Factory Tiruchi), HAPP (Heavy Alloy Penetrator Project), Thanjavur, Perambalur, Karaikudi and Karaikal, discussed the modalities for implementing teacher-exchange programme within the cluster, as advocated by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

Cent per cent results

The meeting, chaired by the Assistant Commissioner of KVS, Chennai Region, Rajeswari, took stock of the performance of students in the first pre-board examination so as to plan remedial coaching classes for slow learners. The aim was to achieve 100% results and attain performance index of 75%.

The discussion covered ways of dealing with slow learners, conduct of tests, and building confidence,

Coordinator of the Tiruchi Cluster of Kendriya Vidyalayas and Principal of HAPP KV-2 N. Alagendhi said.

A special time table would be followed for students who had scored below 50 per cent in the first pre-board examinations. Teachers would handle classes for them on holidays as well. Tutorial-type coaching would be followed for slow learners, Mr. Alagendhi said.
