Aavin plans food festival across State

Milk major Aavin has planned to organise a food festival, ‘Aavin Unavu Thiruvizha,’ in major cities across the State from January next to encourage use of its products such as cheese and panneer.

Event managers will soon be called for this purpose and the festival will be conducted in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore and Tiruchi.

“Most consumers associate Aavin only with milk. We want to showcase our other products. We will have dishes made from panneer, ghee and butter like ghee fried rice, paneer kurma and panneer pakoda. We are looking at cooking competitions and demonstrations by famous chefs at the venues,” Aavin Managing Director C. Kamaraj told The Hindu .

The events would mostly be held during a weekend each in January, February and March and would have something for everyone in the family, including games for children.

No entry fee

“There would not be any entry or parking fee,” Mr. Kamaraj added. Of 31 lakh litres of milk procured by Aavin on a daily basis, around 22 lakh litres are consumed as milk and the rest is converted into milk-based products, including 80 varieties of ice cream, flavoured milk, khoa and other sweets.

Recently, Aavin launched the sale of UTH milk in Singapore. Every month, the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation plans to sell 1 lakh litres of milk.

I am curious to find out what blog platform you happen to be using? I’m having some minor security issues with my latest blog and I would like to find something more risk-free. Do you have any suggestions? 토토사이트
