Institution of Engineers to hold seminar

Tiruchi Local Centre (TLC) of The Institution of Engineers (India) has identified ‘Hybrid AC/DC power systems for effective utilisation of renewable energy’ as the topic for its national-level seminar here next month.

The two-day event on November 24 and 25 that will form part of the National Convention of Electrical Engineers, is expected to witness interaction amongst over 300 industry experts, academicians, practising engineers, researchers and consultants for sharing of experiences and identifying emerging technologies for research and development in Electrical Engineering, Program Convenor S. Dharmalingam, Past Chairman, TLC,IEI and retired General Manager, BHEL, Trichy, said in a press release.

BHEL, Tiruchirappalli, and the National Institute of Technology-Tiruchi are associated with the event to be conducted on the Institute premises. A technical exhibition will also be conducted as part of the programme.
