Two-day conference exclusively for women

THE Department of Women's Studies in Bharathidasan University (BDU) in association with Women Entrepreneurs Association of Tamil Nadu (WEAT) is all set to host a two-day 'Women Entrepreneurs Conference' for women who aspire to start their own business with the help of Government funding. The two-day programme will be inaugurated on Wednesday at a community hall in St Joseph's College. WEAT will host its con-erence on account of the 18th year anniversary celebration. According to an official in Department of Womens' Studies, its has planned to rope in over 30 resource persons from var-ious departments of State and Central Government. The aim of the programme is to educate a person about the various schemes avail-able for starting a new business. Each resource persons in the conference will give an insight to the participants about the available entrepreneurship opportunities, the training centres exclusively for the department, how to ask for Government's help.
