Funding Startups by NIT
Centre for Entrepreneurship Development and Incubation(CEDI) in association with Sonata Software Bengaluru, and NIT Trichy conducted an information event on incubation and seed funding here recently.
G. Kannabiran, Professor at NIT and Navin Jacob Mathew, Assistant Vice President Sonata Software, told reporters that CEDI looks to find and help establish bright start-ups with ground breaking ideas in India. Sonata Software, and the Central Government have contributed Rs. 1.2 crore, and Rs. 2 crore respectively to help seed fund start-ups.
