Apple to expand to cities like Trichy

Apple is planning to expand its foothold in The Indian market. After good respond to its iPhone 5S last year andIphone 6 this year the company is planning big for the Indian market.
 
According to a report in The Economic Times the Tim Cook headed company is planning to open some 500 stores to reach more towns and cities in India. As of now it has two main distributors in India, Redington and Ingram who supply iPhones and iPad to Apple sellers and re-sellers.
 
The “company is finalizing plans to become a serious player in India,” a top company source told to Times of India this report says. The list includes small towns like smaller towns and cities like Amritsar, Pathankot, Moga, Coimbatore, Trichy, Nagpur and Nasik, the report says.
 
The plan has been tentatively approved and might soon get a go-ahead ‘very soon’ according to this report.
