Sutherland Global opens Trichy facility, to hire 100
Sutherland Global Services has set up a new BPO facility in Trichy and
will hire around 100 people for this facility, over the next six to 12
months. This facility will handle back-office lifecycle management
processes, in the financial services vertical.
In a statement, the company said it will partner with Shivani Engineering College in Trichy to offer paid internships to students, who are enrolled in Science or Engineering courses.
Sutherland Global founder-chairman and CEO, Dilip Vellodi, said, “We believe our ‘Campus Connect’ is an innovative win-win model where the students will get corporate work exposure in a global multi-national company, while the company has immediate access to trained quality talent once the students complete their graduation.”
The Rochester, New York-headquartered company has over 10,000 employees in India, across facilities in Kochi, Mumbai and Chennai.
