Indira Gandhi College for Women has been accredited with ‘A’

The Shrimati Indira Gandhi College for Women has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore. This ‘A’ Grade status will continue for five years from September 30.

The college was started in 1984 for the uplift of women by the late K. Santhanam, the then secretary of the National College Council.

The college, which catered to the needs of all sections of the society, has various departments and offered many attractive courses.

S. Viswanathan, president of the Managing Committee, S. Kunjithapatham, its secretary, and its members felicitated K. Meena, Principal, the teaching and non-teaching staff and the students for this coveted achievement.
