Bharathidasan University comes first in accessing e-resources
Springerlink, the world’s most comprehensive online collection of scientific, technological and medical journals, books and reference works, has ranked Bharathidasan University first among 125 universities in the country in accessing e-resources.
The University Library has procured 8,500 Springer e-books on various subjects with perpetual access to enhance the quality of teaching and research activities. A powerful central access point for students, researchers and scientists, Springerlink offers more than 2,110 journals, 34,500 books, 1,000 book series, 150 reference works and 19,000 protocols online.
With a stock of about 95,000 books and back volumes, the library also subscribes to 204 current journals at national and international level as print copies, covering a wide range of subjects of current academic and research literature.
