Car-Free Sunday brings out innate talent of children

Kids display their creativity, besides dancing, playing games

It was children’s day out along the Anna Nagar Link Road here as the minors enjoyed every bit displaying their creativity, besides dancing and playing games.

The Car-Free Sunday organised by The Hindu group, in association with Tiruchi City Corporation and Tiruchi City Police, served as the perfect platform for the young ones to have a gala time.

The three hours-long programme had a slew of events, including a drawing contest, for children in the 5-12 age group enabling them to display their innate talent.

The India Post made use of the event to display stamps and drive home their products and schemes to the audience assembled on the occasion.

About 80 children were registered for Aadhaar card during a special camp conducted during the course of the programme.

The Frontline Hospital in city organised a health check-up for the public, while the Agarwal Eye Hospital and Joseph Eye Hospital conducted eye check at the venue.
