Awareness programme on export to be held on Dec.13

Director General of Foreign Trade, Chennai Zone, and Tiruchi District Tiny and Small Scale Industries' Association (TIDITSSIA) will jointly conduct an awareness programme for prospective exporters on December 13 at Hotel Orange Blossom (SRM Annexe) near Old Palpannai, at 10 a.m.

Hassle-free customs procedures in foreign trade will be discussed in detail by the customs authorities.

The Airport cargo authorities will participate in the program and provide proper guidance on procedures in handling import and export products, S. Punniyamoorthy, Secretary, TIDITSSIA, said in a press release.

Bankers and insurance company officials will explain the facilities available for businessmen engaged in foreign trade. The awareness programme will best suit budding and prospective entrepreneurs besides existing foreign trade entrepreneurs, the release said.

Aspiring participants are required to register their names in advance with TIDITSSIA, SIDCO Comples, Industrial Estate, Ariyamangalam, Tiruchi- 10, Ph. 0431 - 2440114/ 2440119/ 9654558111, email: tiditssiatry@gmail.com. Registration fee of Rs. 500 per participant has to be paid before December 12.
