Track work: Landowners told to get doubt cleared

The district administration has commenced the process of acquiring parcels of land at 44 spots along the section, as part of the ongoing second broad gauge line laying works on the Villupuram - Dindigul section.
Following that the district administration has asked those residing on the particular stretches should come and meet the respective revenue official of land acquisition and get their concerns addressed.
District collector K Rajamani, in a statement, said the process of acquiring land at 44 different locations has gathered pace. For this, two separate offices have stared functioning from the district sub-collector office in Trichy on the first floor of the building.
“The owners of land, which was earmarked to be acquired for the execution of second broad gauge track, were asked to come over the office and get their doubts cleared with regard to the acquisition,” the release added.
