Research Colloquium launched

National Institute of Technology - Tiruchi has launched a Research Colloquium bringing all the 18 departments of various streams under one umbrella. The website, rsf.nitt.edu, of Research Scholars Forum National Institute of Technology Trichy (RSFNITT) was launched on Friday by the Institute Director Mini Shaji Thomas.

NIT-T is the first among NITs to have such a forum, Samson Mathew, Dean - Students' Welfare, said. It will enable research scholars to guide B. Tech and M. Tech students in both academics and career, he said.

Thecolloquium was a good push for the scholars to showcase their research work and promote interdisciplinary research, Prof. Mini Shaji Thomas said.

Research Colloquium’18, a press release said, envisages bringing about industrial collaborations and initiating start-ups.
