Change in pattern of train services

The Southern Railway has announced change in the pattern of some train services due to line block / power block to facilitate engineering works for commissioning the second broad gauge railway line between Tamaraipadi and Kalpattichatram stations on the Tiruchi - Dindigul section from March 15 to 30.

Partial cancellation

The Tirunelveli - Mayiladuthurai passenger (Train No. 56822) via Madurai will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Mayiladuthurai from March 16 to 27. The same train will be partially cancelled Dindigul and Tiruchi from March 28 to 30.

The Mayiladuthurai - Tirunelveli passenger (Train No. 56821) scheduled to leave Mayiladuthurai at 11.25 a.m. will be partially cancelled between Mayiladuthurai and Dindigul from March 16 to 27.

The Mayiladuthurai - Tirunelveli passenger will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi and Dindigul from March 28 to 30.

Regulation

The Nagercoil - Mumbai CSTM Express (Train No. 16352) will be regulated for 75 minutes at Dindigul on March 18, 22 and 25.

Diversion

The Guruvayur - Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 16128) will be diverted to run via Madurai, Dindigul and Karur to reach Tiruchi. Consequently, the train will skip the stoppage at Manapparai on March 16 and 30, a Southern Railway press release said.
