Southern Railway effects changes in train services due to line block

The Southern Railway has announced changes in the pattern of certain train services due to line block at Tiruchi Junction for the construction of foot over bridge.

The Chennai Egmore – Tiruchi Express (Train No. 16853) scheduled to leave Chennai Egmore at 8.30 a.m. is rescheduled to leave at 9.30 a.m. on October 23.

The Palghat Town – Tiruchi passenger (Train No. 56712) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi Fort and Tiruchi on October 23, 27 and 28.

The Erode – Tiruchi passenger (Train No. 56844) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi Fort and Tiruchi on October 27 and 28.The Cuddalore – Tiruchi – Cuddalore passenger (Train No.76841 / 76842) will be partially cancelled between Srirangam – Tiruchi – Srirangam on October 27 and 28.

The Nagore – Tiruchi – Nagore passenger (Train No. 76851 / 76852) will be partially cancelled between Tiruverambur – Tiruchi – Tiruverambur on October 27 and 28.

Fully cancelled

The Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi – Mayiladuthurai passenger (Train No. 16233 / 16234) will be fully cancelled on October 27 and 28.

The Karaikudi – Tiruchi – Karaikudi passenger (Train No. 76840 / 76839) will be fully cancelled on October 27 and 28.

The Tiruchi – Lalgudi passenger (Train No. 76800) will be fully cancelled on October 28.

The Tiruchi – Thanjavur passenger (Train No. 76824) will be fully cancelled on October 28.

The Thanjavur – Tiruchi passenger (Train No. 76827) will be fully cancelled on October 28, a Southern Railway press release said.
