Free set-top boxes

Subscribers of the Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation are being provided with free set-top boxes and they are required to pay only Rs. 200 towards installation and one time activation charges to the cable TV operators, Collector K. Rajamani has said.

In a statement, Mr.Rajamani said subscribers need not any additional money other the installation and activation charge. Complaints, if any, of excess fee collection can be made through the toll-free number 18004252911,he said.

Training

The Food Processing Incubation cum Training Centre of the Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College and Research Institute, Navalur Kuttappattu, will conduct a training in ‘Value addition of vegetables,’on October 10. It will cover preparation of pickle and dehydrated vegetables. Participants would have to pay a training fee of Rs. 500, according to a press release.
