Special fare special trains between Tambaram and Sengottai via Trichy

Southern Railway will operate special fare special trains between Tambaram and Sengottai via Trichy - Pudukottai - Virudhunagar to clear the extra rush of passengers next month.

According to a statement from the railways, train no. 06069 Tambaram - Sengottai special fare special will leave Tambaram at 6am on October 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28 and 30 and reach Sengottai at 6pm the same day.

In the return direction, train no. 06070 Sengottai - Tambaram special fare special will leave Sengottai at 6am on October 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 19, 20, 21, 22, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 31 and arrive Tambaram at 7pm the same day.
These trains will have 1 AC chair car, 6 second class chair car, 7 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. They will stop at Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Trichy, Pudukottai, Karaikkudi, Manamadurai, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar, Sivakasi, Srivilliputtur, Rajapalayam, Sankarankovil, Kadayanallur and Tenkasi. Advance reservation for the above trains will commence at 8am on September 27, the statement said.
