Changes in pattern of train services

Southern Railway has announced cancellation of a few trains, rescheduling of some others and diversion of a couple of trains due to line block for the commissioning of doubling work between Srirangam and Ponmalai stations.

The following will be the pattern of train services from September 16 to October 7.

Trains fully cancelled: The Tiruchi – Lalgudi passenger (Train No. 76800), Tiruchi – Thanjavur passenger (Train No. 76824) and Thanjavur – Tiruchi passenger (Train No. 76827) will be fully cancelled on September 16, 23 and 30. The Tiruchi – Lalgudi passenger (Train No. 76804) will be fully cancelled on September 30.

Partially cancelled: The Mayiladuthurai – Tirunelveli – Mayiladuthurai passenger (Train No. 56821 / 56822) will be partially cancelled between Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi – Mayiladuthurai from September 25 to 30.

The Nagore – Tiruchi – Nagore passenger (Train No. 76851/76852) will be partially cancelled between Budalur – Tiruchi – Budalur on September 25 and 26.

The Nagore – Tiruchi and Tiruchi – Nagore passenger will be partially cancelled between Budalur – Tiruchi and Tiruchi – Thanjavur respectively on September 30.

The Coimbatore – Mayiladuthurai – Coimbatore Jan Shatabdhi Express (Train No. 12083 / 12084) will be partially cancelled between Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi – Mayiladuthurai on September 30.

The Chennai Egmore – Tiruchi Express (Train No. 16853) will be partially cancelled between Budalur and Tiruchi on September 30.

The Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 16854) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi and Tiruverambur on September 30.

The Cuddalore – Tiruchi – Cuddalore Passenger (Train No. 76841 / 76842) will be partially cancelled between Srirangam – Tiruchi – Srirangam on September 30.

The Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi – Mayiladuthurai Passenger will be partially cancelled between Thanjavur – Tiruchi – Thanjavur on September 30.

The Tiruchi – Nagore Passenger (Train No. 76854) will be partially cancelled between Tiruchi and Budalur on September 30 and October 7.

The Karaikal – Tiruchi Passenger (Train No. 56711) will be partially cancelled between Budalur – Tiruchi on September 30.

The Nagore - Tiruchi Passenger (Train No. 76853) will be partially cancelled between Thanjavur and Tiruchi on September 30.

The Mannargudi – Tiruchi Passenger (Train No. 76805) will be partially cancelled between Budalur and Tiruchi on October 7.

The Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi – Mayiladuthurai Passenger (Train No. 16233 / 16234) will be partially cancelled between Thanjavur – Tiruchi – Thanjavur on October 7.

Trains rescheduled: The Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 06026) scheduled to leave Tiruchi at 3.35 p.m. is rescheduled to leave at 5.35 p.m. on September 30.

The Tiruchi – Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 16854) scheduled to leave Tiruchi at 9.35 a.m. is rescheduled to leave at 10.35 a.m. on October 7.

Trains regulated: The Mayiladuthurai – Coimbatore Jan Shatabdhi Express (Train No. 12083) will be regulated enroute for 30 minutes on September 27, 28 and 29.

The Mayiladuthurai – Tiruchi Passenger (Train no. 56811) will be regulated enroute for 90 minutes on October 7.

The Chennai Egmore – Tiruchi Express (Train No. 16853) will be regulated enroute for 30 minutes on September 26.

Trains diverted: The Guruvayur /Tuticorin – Chennai Egmore Express (Train No. 16128 / 16130) leaving Guruvayur on September 29 will be diverted via Tiruchi, Karur, Namakkal, Salem and Vriddhachalam. The Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur / Tuticorin Express (Train No. 16127 / 16129) leaving Chennai Egmore on September 30 will be diverted via Vriddhachalam, Salem, Namakkal, Karur and Tiruchi.
